Smallish quiet camp/caravan site, could do with an up-grade on toilet/shower blocks, very dated and only 2 toilets and 2 showers in ladies, 2 toilets, 2 showers and small urinearie in men's
A fantastic, open and picturesque campsite, a lot bigger than it looks. Plenty of space but also feels like you aren't on a huge site. Kids play area was a bonus, the facilities were good. Washington machine was out of order, but it is camping anyway. Woodland on the doorstep of the site allows for peaceful walks. Would definitely recommend staying. Plenty to do and see not too far. A car would be needed. A great place to relax and feel away from it all. 5* from me!
Decent camp site but the toilets / showers could do with some improvement. We went as a family (6 pitches) and had a small area to ourselves which was great.
When we booked campsite said we can squeeze us in,when we got there they opened a field up for us 3 family's which we had no complaints about,we upgraded to electric for more money,we was told to turn our music down even though we was on a field with our own party! It was red hot and the kids were told not to fill small water balloons up because there was going to be a water shortage soon,the owners must of kept turning the water off to the 2 toilets and showers and telling us not to use too much water when washing pots and pans up from breakfast! So if you want a nice relaxing moan free break Don't come here!
I wouldn't give a one star the place is nice but the people who owned the place was on my back all the time saying watch how much water you use turn the music down as in the other field there music was louder than ours. Think they was watching us as if we was on crime watch terrible and one of the mothers told my son off as they was playing football after 10 o clock and should be in bed never again lights off at 10 o clock sorry not my cup of tea
