1st pint of real ale off, took back to bar, barman not aware of what it should smell like or taste. Had small sample it was the same. Changed to other ale. After I had left bar landlord tasted my original pint and said there was a taint to it.
Superb home cooked good and brilliant service. Best roast dinner I've ever had. Highly recommended and very affordable too.
This is a small cosy pub overlooking the River Wye. The service was efficient and very friendly. We ordered a pint of lager, a rum and coke and a packet of cheese & jalapeno flavoured crisps. We felt very welcome and chatted to a few locals visiting the pub. Their restaurant was highly recommended which we intend to try in the near future.
Very friendly staff, dog friendly, cozy, tasty food and large portions. We ordered the white bait as a started but it could easily be a main as it came with a salad and 2 large slices of bread and butter. Only wish their wines were better. Otherwise, fantastic!
The meal was exceptional. You definitely get your moneys worth. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this pub to everyone.
