Not the best, very slow, they completely forgot about my order, quality of food also not very good and quite expensive.
Poor menu choices. Service was under staffed. But then it's just a beefeater. They don't pay well enough to keep good staff and therefore standards drop
Always enjoy my visit here.Atmosphere always friendly and efficient.Had breakfast on this occasion. Your cooked breakfast is ordered at your table and while that is being prepared you help yourself to a buffet of yogurt fruit toast cakes juice teas and coffees. Excellent you can have as much as you like. Highly recommend.
Nice staff but extremely slow service and the food just isnt up to scratch.Roast potatoes hard as rock, gammon full of fat, burnt chips the list goes on!And you pay 22 for a steak to get 1 mushroom 12 chips and 1/2 a tomato !Not good enough...
Unfortunately we turned up on a Thursday at 6pm hoping to get what is normally a good meal but were told there were no tables for two until 7:15. We were invited to eat in the bar but this wasn't a good experience. We paid full price for a difficult eating experience with no refinement and we had to wait for a long time for our one course. When it arrived my sweet potato fries were overcooked and cold, as if they'd been sitting around for ages. The worst element was the service with the staff being more interested in chatting to and serving their friends than in even speaking to their other customers. I would recommend others to avoid the option of eating in the bar area - and I'm not convinced that when there are a number of vacant tables it makes sense to turn people away from the restaurant presumably so as not to block a larger table. A bit more flexibility and willingness to please might pay dividends.
