Friendly pub in Wilton, Ross-On-Wye on the riverbank of the Wye. A beautiful and scenic spot with a variety of bird life. Locals are very friendly. Drinks very expensive and service very slow. Delicious locally produced butchers pork scratchings though.
Absolutely beautiful. Best toast I e ever had
Driving elderly relatives from Worcester to Cardiff, we wanted a snack lunch (on a Sunday) about half-way. Though clearly we were not going to spend much, we were given a very warm welcome. The setting, the food, value and service were all excellent. Recommended without hesitation.
Chose this place because it's dog friendly and the reviews were good. We were not disappointed. We had a friendly welcome and my dog Skip was given a treat and some water. We had a delicious curry and a scrumptious pud. The staff were very friendly. I was very impressed. Well deserving of 5 stars.
Great food and a lovely riverside setting. Dog friendly too. Would be five stars if steaks had been med-rare instead of well done....
