Beautiful setting and beautiful house with delicious food and good service
The service was perfection. Despite several cuts in power (which only lasted a minute or 2) they maintained a level of professionilsm and care to their guests. They offered everyone staying a free hot buffet meal and a complimentary drink at the bar. I can think of many places that wouldn't have offered anything but I think they went above and beyond. There was also plenty to do there too. We played snooker, sat in the lounge area playing board ganes, played table tennis in the games room and there was even a hot tub. Highly recommend for a weekend get away.
We stayed in the horseboxes at the back. It's in an awesome setting with a lot of surrounding woodland. I'd recommend a car though to get around and make the most of the Cotswolds. The place itself has plenty to do though...it has an outdoor enclosed swimming pool, an outdoor sauna, games room, snooker table and a games room....all in a nice relaxing setting. Also has an awesome dining room with 2 or tables with awesome views overlooking the valley/fields surrounding the property. I'd recommend getting to the dining room early or reserving the tables that you want as they go quickly.
